Buffet Dinner on The Beach

We arrived at Boracay Island early afternoon and just after check-in at La  Carmela Resort Hotel it was straight to the beach. I missed the feeling as well as the taste of sea water (quite sure everyone who swims in open sea drinks maybe half a glass or more each time... hahaha) and it was time to be reacquainted.

After our first dip in Boracay's clear waters, we rested and prepared to have dinner. We decided to have our first dinner at La Carmela's Buffet served on the beach. At P250 per head, the buffet was well worth it. They served fish, prawns, pork, chicken, pasta cooked in different ways  with mongolian buffet as well inclusive and the juice drinks were bottomless. For children 11 years and below the price was 50% off and children 5 and below were free... good deal! While having dinner, there was a solo performer which sang acoustic covers. The friendly staff at La Carmela were also very courteous and kind to assist us in any way. Nice food, right music, having dinner on the beach and hearing the sound of the waves complementing the taste that runs in your mouth at each bite, just perfect. My daughter KD even insisted that she had an outfit change for dinner... haha... cute!

My plan was to go out after dinner and go see some friends over at Regency Hotel and Red Coconut Beach Resort but upon reaching our hotel room and my back slammed on the bed, I was asleep in seconds.

Nothing like a buffet dinner on the beach... it was a tiring yet wonderful first day in Boracay.
